is anyone else excited about this game? the concept behind it is awsome in my books, despite the fact ill have to leave my cave to play it i hope more developers use the GBA to test strange concepts in games that would be too risky on the other platforms

I heard about it, but I still don't know what it is...

Can you explain the concept please?

mmkay, the cartridge has a sunlight detector thing in it, and you gather up sunlight to use in the game, your a vampire hunter, and yeah you use the sunlight you collect up to defeat the bosses in the game, that all i know about it, but it sounds pretty wacky/fun

Vancouver is the worst possible place to be interested in this game. Not much sun.

*sigh*

Melbourne, Australia would be a great city to play this game.  As any Australian knows, Melbourne has unpredictable weather.  Sunny one moment, cloudy the next.

I live in the woods and sunlight has to be piped in.  Hopefully 60 watt bulb will sufice, because otherwise I will have to exit my bat cave and go outside.

Nope, apparently only the Sun will work.  I don't have any idea how the designers did that, but that's what IGN says.

Does anyone really get the point of this game?  I mean, it sounds interesting, but I don't see what makes the Sun element particularly fun.  It's like forcing players to play on Wednesday.  Is there any real incentive to play it indoors?

well you can store sunlight in a bank? for later use, so you wouldn't have to be outside all the time.. i want to test a UV light, i mean what else would the detecter pick up?

If you don't play in the sun, your weapons will be weak, or possibly ineffective.

The light sensor could be a solar cell. Most likely you've seen solar cells in calculators. Basically they work by converting light into an electrical current. Any light source can produce energy for the cells, but even on a cloudy day, the light from the sun is much greater than that of a lightbulb.

It's a really interesting concept, and if the game is good, it could become a sleeper. Will i overcome my hate of the sun to experience this game? Probably.
