Anime: Sword Art Online
« on: September 15, 2012, 12:20:56 AM »
Anyone else picked this up yet? Not sure if there is many anime fans in the NWR community but if you're "one of us" you should give this anime a chance. After reading lots about this show on so many websites and forums, not related to anime even, I finally gave in and looked it up on youtube.

Hnnngh!
~ ..... All I have to say...

I haven't watched that much anime this year so I can easily say that this is my 'anime of year' so far. But even if I had spent more time watching anime earlier in the year I'm confident that this would still be on my top 3. Watch it!

seems interesting, i added it to my watch list. Only thing about shounen anime is that most of the time they take themselves way too seriously but whatever, i'll go into this without looking to much into it. I've ran into plenty of anime i never thought i would like that way (im also pretty out of the loop as far as new anime go).

Come back after watching it in 1080p. It doesn't really come through well enough in the youtube video but the quality if the animation is exceptional, full HD recommended!

Yeah, It's very good. I've been watching this as well as Accel World, which takes place in the same universe's future. Incidentally, from its name, I thought it was a real MMORPG for a while and didn't pay attention to it at first. But I'm glad I eventually found it as it's got an interesting story, good animation, and features my favorite anime composer.
