On a related note, Amazon is having an all day video game goldbox event (today being the 18th). So it might be worthwhile to check in periodically throughout the day to see what lightning deals come and go.

I just bought it with my $20 Amazon credit that I got for $10 the other day, so my entire order of $25.49 inly cost me $15.49.
$19.99 for M:OM and $5.50 for another item.

I hate impulse buying.....

I wasn't willing to pay $50 for it since I didn't think it was worth it based on what I read in reviews, but $20 might push me to get it.

I almost did the same thing as BnM and bought it with my ten dollar $20 gift card, but I decided not to since I haven't finished any of the Metroid Prime games.

GameStop is giving $100 trade-in credit for a DSi XL if you pre-order a 3DS, and $75 for a DSi...and $50 for a DS Lite. Not sure if that's AMAZING or not though.

They are really good IMO. Of coarse, I plan to keep my DSi (especially since we don't know details on transferring content to the 3DS yet).

I can tell you one detail. You are gonna need your DSi on hand to transfer the content that is currently on it over to your 3DS(which you will also need on hand).
So if you plan on keeping that content which you already "own", then I wouldn't suggest trading in the DSi for a Pre-order of a 3DS.

If you are a Reward Zone member at Best Buy, you can get 500 free points (equal to a $10 gift card) if you pre-order Mario Sports Mix before February 7.

Also, you can get Shaun White Skateboarding (all 3 versions) for $9.99 until this Sunday.

You could buy another DSi, transfer your info to it, trade in your DSi, get the 3DS, move your info over and return the other DSi...but that's a hassle.

Unless GS will take Promissory Notes of intent to trade in DSi at time of 3DS pick up (only after transfer is complete).

But I'm sure that defeats their plan of selling as many used DSi's to uninformed customers for a small discount before they find out about the 3DS.

I almost did the same thing as BnM and bought it with my ten dollar $20 gift card, but I decided not to since I haven't finished any of the Metroid Prime games.

I just checked my account and it turns out that the $20 Amazon GC had only cost me $5 from LivingSocial*, so I actually bought M:OM for only $5.

Unfortunately, Amazon had a mix up with my order and had to cancel it, but now it's all worked out and they just shipped it yesterday from a 3rd party at the same price that I had bought it for originally.

I mostly bought it for the Club Points anyway. I'm not really sure why since there is never anything really worth spending it on, but I collect for no reason other than to say I have it, so now I have it... and it's points.
