Damn nice find.

As a new DS owner and previous owner of all three console systems, this is a hell of a sale.

Are you sure it's $9 each?

Also, can anyone help me pick out 2 good DS games from that list?

Advance Wars & Meteos are two games that no DS owner should be without.  However, you might have a hard time finding them at CC (mine was out).  But both are worth paying full price for if you can't find them on sale.

I picked up Polarium and Trace Memory at my CC the other day (confirmed, the price was $9 each).

Nice.

I appreciate the help. Plus, if I can't find them in-store, I bet I can get the same deal online.

Oh wait, I almost forgot...

What are your GBA recommedations? I haven't own a portable period. I feel like I have some catching up to do (since I am now in LOVE with portable gaming).

The GBA has a lot of great games.  Just going by what's on that list, I'd recommend

Final Fantasy Tactics
Final Fantasy IV
Kirby And The Amazing Mirror
Mario VS Donkey Kong
Metroid Zero Mission
Wario Ware

However you should also pick up Zelda: Minish Cap, Metroid Fushion, both Golden Suns, at least one of the Advance Wars games (unless you get Advance Wars DS), Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga (its DS sequel is really good, too), Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow (again, its DS sequel is a must have), Fire Emblem (and its GBA sequal Sacred Stones, to a lesser extent), and Astro Boy: Omega Factor (Treasure goodness).  That's all I can think of off the top of my head, but I'm sure there's more.

This was already posted in the Funhouse*, but how many people check the Funhouse? and I cross posted it on purpose, just like the sale above it. I wanted those that don't check the handheld section to see the sale too, just like the Podcast in the Talkback and in the Wii sections, trying to make sure everyone saw it.

*I didn't remember where I saw it posted on here until you mentioned that, but I had known about it before that, I just wanted to confirm this sale b4 I posted it(I have a friend that works at CC and I work basically next door).

p.s. If your gonna armchair moderate, don't half@ss it, provide some links

Yeah, I went to CC the other day with high hopes, but they had nothing on the GBA or DS list.  I was quite sad, I really want FFIV, Mario vs. Donkey Kong, and Metroid Zero Mission =((

But I bought a DS Lite instead so, uhh,

I tried to find this info in the Funhouse and couldn't... So I consider it buried and commend BlackNMild2k1 for his thoughtfulness

I disapprove of CircuityCity.com telling me they had online stock for a bunch of these games at 7am, only to go sorry when I tried to actually checkout moments later

I just picked up a pair of Bongos for $9 at GameStop.  Anyone know where I can find a copy of Jungle Beat for cheap?

I just read in the semi-weekly flyer that if you buy a DS Lite, they're throwing in Pokemon for $10 more, which comes to $160 CDN total. Also, they're having this promotion where if you buy one Player's Choice game, you get one free. Sounds like a great time to pick up RE4, for those of you that haven't yet.. But hurry, QUANTITIES ARE LIMITED!

Speaking of Toys-R-Us, I stopped out there to check out the deal IceCold mentioned about the 2 for 20, but didnt see much. What I did see though was Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance for $20.98 and Baten Kaitos for $10.48 with the soundtrack included! SO thanks for sending me down there IceCold, paid off better than expected!

Everyone who hasn't played Fire Emblem needs to.  Right now.  You've lost your last excuse of not playing.  (Unless you're KDR.)

That might be worth the trip but I just pre-ordered a Wii and I couldn't get this past my counter part.

Or, even better, you can pick up Jungle Beat for a mere $20.  (That's new, btw.  None of this $13 used crap.)

$14.99 new at CC and GAmecrazy for Battalion WArs, Chibi Robo, Fire Emblem and Geist.

I personally picked up a used Battalion Wars at GC tonight for $12.99.  It was in the same shape as new anyway.
