The Game Boy Color classic further extends Japan's 3DS Virtual Console lead.

Wario Land 3 will be released on the 3DS Virtual Console in Japan in next week's update, on May 2.

Originally released in 2000 for the Game Boy Color, the third title in the Wario Land series plays in a similar manner to the second, in which Wario is indestructible and must use transformations brought on my enemies to traverse the environment. The game features four worlds, which each contain a series of levels, each with chests to be opened and treasure to collect.

I think so. They probably think that 1 percent of 3DS owners really want VC games anyway.
