No Mario 128??

Why isn't Mario 128 being shown at E3? It's my most anticipated game for the Gamecube right now and I REALLY want to see what Shiggy's doing with it. Is it just not that far along?

I'm clueless on that one. I thought they would show it in the press conference today. Supposedly the game has been in production since well before Mario Sunshine. The press conference was a big dull dud in my opinion. There was not a single thing new to me except Giest, but that (according to IGN) is actually the game "Fear" that was mentioned on a few web sites recently.

I was going to post the same thing... I REALLY wanted to see some Mario128 love.

I'm REALLY interested in Geist though, it is definitely on my "This could kick arse" list.

Keepa: Yeah, the conference was pretty dissapointing- I was hopnig for some real shockers (then again, had some of the Mario Kart and Rebel Strike stuff not been leaked early, it WOULD have been pretty impressive). A good showing of Mario 128 would've blown everybody away, though.

Nintendo said in the conference that they were saving stuff for tomorrow so don't worry.

Yeah I don't see why everyone is panicking when e3 hasn't really begun yet. It doesn't start until tomorrow. If nothing is shown by day 2 then I would start to worry. I want to hear more about Virtua Fighter Quest personally. I'm also hoping for some third party offerings that have yet to be announced.

I started smelling something fishy when no big titles were announced besides Geist, which is not a first party title anyway.  Miyamoto said HIMSELF, on Mario 128, "wait till E3," which proves that there is more than meets the eye.

Also, how about Game Zero? hmmmmmm

I'm starting to think we may not see Mario 128 till SpaceWorld  =(

I certainly hope so, for I've found the bulk of the announcements lacklustre at best! Quite frankly, I'd rather see a lot of the GBA games announced, developed for the Cube instead. Yeah yeah, I know all about user base and profitability.

I'm worried because usually everything big is talked about at the press conference. Maybe showgoers did get to see a bit of Mario 128 today, but stuff of it's caliber is usually unveiled at the press conference.

I hope they show some stuff.  I'm seriously interested in what this will be like.   But they could have some surprises.  Wouldn't surprise me.

I just got back from E3 a few hours ago-- nope. Nothing on Super Mario 128. Quite unfortunate... =/

Hey, kirby popstar, is the pac man game fun?

Ah, well.  Not as if that's bad, just gives us more to look forward to later.  Be funny if they gave everyone a ton of stuff right after E3

Hey Kirby, did you get to play MGS: TS at all?  What was the music and sound like?  I know it's hard to hear with that many people around, but was the voice acting and music the same as in the PSX version?

Grey Ninja: IGN has mentioned on several accounts that all the voice acting in MGS: TS appears to be the same as in MGS.
