Got a whole bunch of games over the holiday break, so will list them out quickly:
* Super Smash Bros for Wii U - Pretty expensive, but marked down to $45 after Christmas and then had a $25 gift card on top of that. Almost makes me regret slightly returning the Wii Fit Trainer Amiibo since that would be a fun character to power up and play against... but Amiibo distribution is so **** that I'm not too disappointed.
* Just Dance 4 (Wii U) - Just $3 plus another $2 for shipping, and a party game I've always been curious about. Who am I kidding - I'll end up rocking out by myself most of the time. #guiltypleasure
* Skylanders SwapForce - Base set plus just over a dozen figures for the kids for Christmas. Although it's their game, I'll list it here anyway since we'll mostly be playing together.
* Stick it to the Man
* Mega Man 7
Pretty good deals all around, with both eShop being on sale too.

Complaining time:
Would have bought some 3DS games too, but my 3DS XL console was sent in for repair before the holidays because the spring in the SD slot broke and the card wouldn't stay inserted. Last I checked, the status was showing as "repair cancelled" despite Nintendo Support agreeing to fix it for me at a discounted rate after checking my Club Nintendo account and seeing that I'm a heavy buyer.
Apparently the SD card slot isn't under warranty, and costs over $100 to fix normally. Without an SD card, no digital content can be played or purchased, rendering 80+ of my games and applications inaccessible. Unless/until the console comes back in working condition I'm done buying portable. If it doesn't get fixed then I'll just use the system to play retail DS/3DS games (yay for non-digital purchases) and wait for a good price on New 3DS in a couple of years to recover my digital content.
Given my normal purchasing habits, I consider that to be more their loss than mine.
