I laughed at your PARANOID Activity sketch. I could easily see that being on SNL or something. Get Tracy Morgan in it and you got TV gold.
I actually made something like that (well we were stoned and it was scary, though not very funny until it was over) already a long time ago, but it was just me and a few friends going into an abandoned Hotel about an hour out of the city in the middle of nowhere. We have never been there and got lost, but eventually we found it. This place was freaky. You have to drive up this long narrow dirt road with trees on either side brushing against your car. Finally, you pull up to a clearing in a field and a big hotel is standing in the middle of it. The moon illuminating the building that is covered in vines and moss. There was a thick fog. I'm telling you...
This place was scary. All the windows were boarded up, so you couldn't even take a peak with a flash light inside. That would have been helpful considering as soon as you enter, there is no foyer or main lobby, it's just a long hall way with door openings every few feet on either side. So after much debate (and people trying to pussy out), one of my friends decides to walk in first. He gives a big "HELLLOOO!". Nothing responds, but the small feet of an animal are heard scurrying away.
We walk in a bunch formation, each of us shining a light in a different direction, investigating rooms as we continue in. There's multiple tags in all the rooms of swastikas and KKK; drawings of people with X's for eyes; the words HELL appeared in several sentences, but most disturbingly in "HELL IS HERE!" This place was fuckkkkkkkked up.
Finally, we make it through the hallway and into a big open room. The ceiling is cracked and looks like its about to fall. There's a big fire place on the far wall with a pile of crack pipes. There was a bent stair case to our right. We decide to go up and immediately bats are flying around our heads. I've never heard my friends voice go so high.
Upstairs there were multiple hallways. One of the paths led to where the ceiling was cracked, the other to the rooms the bats flew out of, so we decide to go down the last hallway. Past more rooms only feet apart, we start to see a light. Further and further we continue until we reach the end and we're outside, on the roof. It was grassed covered and had a small dead tree in the middle of it. It was eerie, but it was pretty damn cool. So we smoked a bone there and decided we had our fill and it was time to go.
That's when we heard a gunshot. We stood there like deer, waiting for a frame of reference. BOOM! Another shot. That's when we started to panic. We bolted back down the house and through the door and back to our car. As we were getting in, we saw two people emerge from the tree line behind the hotel. That's when we pulled the car around and bailed.
Freaky freaky night. It's too bad, the recording of it sucked. There were so many times the camera would just fall to the way side as we investigated rooms and pointed flashlights at crazy things. There was one good moment. It was my friend and the look on his face as we entered was priceless. Genuine fear.
