UPDATE: A Konami spokesperson has told Wired.com that the status of upcoming Hudson titles has yet to be decided, and to wait for an official announcement. It seems that Famitsu had removed the game listings pending re-announcement from Konami, but did not explicitly confirm cancellations. This announcement is expected to come in time for E3 in June.
Original story:
Hudson Soft's upcoming 3DS titles have been canceled.
According to the latest issue of Famitsu Weekly, Bomberman, Bonk, and Omega Five were canceled. Other titles, including Wii's Deca Sports 4 and several unannounced games, met the same fate. Bonk: Brink of Extinction was already cancelled for WiiWare, and now it will not see release on any system.
Earlier this month, it was announced that Hudson would become a fully-owned subsidiary of Konami. The merger will be completed by April 1. Hudson's staff was downsized as part of the acquisition and their US branch, Hudson Entertainment, closes at the end of March.
The new Hudson will be focused on producing Social Networking Services.
