okay, i know i've said alot about keeping my original GBA.  that was then, this is now.  i've finally played the GBASP in the dark.  i'm getting one.  i figured i'd go to gamestop or something and pick up that and pokemon ruby.  that's, including tax, $140.07.  for me, alot.  i figured i'd sell my GBA and GBC on ebay for (GBA) $40, and (GBC) $25 (i've seen new ones go for 40 so i'm not sure what will happen)  but they could go for less.  i'm just worried i'll get less on ebay then expected and have a huge hole in my pocket.  i need someone to tell me what they'd do.  to back me up, or call me an idiot, either way i'm fine.

You may want to sell what you have now before e3, and then buy the SP after e3.  If there are any price drops or deals that come out, they'll negatively afffect the selling price of older things.

regarding eBay -- you'll get a lot more on eBay than what you'll get at any retail store that deals with "used" stuff.

know what.  i bought it anyway.  i know i'm stupid, but here's my story.  i put this thread up at the last minute, and i needed replies fast.  well, one thing led to another, and i had forgotten about it untill i was like, at the store.  oh well, i didn't buy pokemon because, well, just because.  i'll kill myself if there's a price drop for the SP, but  i thought it'd be too soon.  nintendo's not gonna release a new gameboy,  so i figured i'd be safe. thanks for your input anyway, i'll take it into consieration "next time"
