Episode 31: A Brief Interlude
« on: November 24, 2010, 10:34:18 PM »

The Newscast Crew gives you something to listen to on the plane, train or automobile ride back home for Thanksgiving.

http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/newscast/24485

Neal, Zach, Andy and Nathan are back again to give you a shorter episode for a shorter week.  Thanksgiving is around the corner, and Andy's played enough Donkey Kong Country Returns to ramble on about it for twenty minutes.

This episode is light on news and releases, but there's still a little bit of everything to pass around the table.  Neal talks about Batman: The Brave and the Bold, and Nathan gives his thoughts on The Force Unleashed II for DS.

Enjoy the holiday, and the Newscast will see you in December.

I'm not sure where I would post this elsewhere, so happy Thanksgiving everyone!

GoldenEye online MP is very different from CoD, it may look the same on paper but when you play it you realize it's much faster and there's much less hiding.

I mean Black Ops is basically the same as MW2.
This would be my PSN Trophy Card, but I guess I can't post HTML in my Signature. I'm the pixel spaceship, and I have nine Gold trophies.

Did you guys forget about the downloads?
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

No, we just ignored them.

We recorded this early, so we only had one week of downloads that none of us were interested in. We were also recording on a tight schedule, as I was getting ready to pack for vacation AND going to see Harry Potter 7 at midnight, which was about an hour after we finished recording. I think Nate had a paper or something as well.

We'll probably only cover highlights of the downloads from this point forward. Our shows are running longer than we want to begin with, and downloads are something we largely don't care much about. When they're good games, we'll talk about them, but when its Learning with the Pooyoos Episode 5, we're gonna ignore it.

My god I love Mustafa.  Not only does he have the same taste in music as me but shares my totally indifference towards comic books.  Also Dark Knight and Watchman are totally overated.  :P:
