Finally it gets a name and release date.....Mario Gold: Toadstool Tour coming June 30th.

You can see box art for it here as well: Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour Box Art

Too many games this year..arghh. I better start getting money back that I lent to people soon so I can buy all of these.
Pietriots, we roll out to get the lol out.

I saw this earlier. I think that the boxart came from gamestop.com.

We have a release date, title, and boxart, but no screen shots from the game. Weird. Has there every been a game that was unveiled (shown in game screen shots) just one month before release? Tube Sliders was close, but it got delayed a couple months.

Well, there are the two pictures shown in a Japanese magazine a long time ago.  PGC has them here.

Toadstool Tour?!

What a horrible name.  Nintendo needs to stop playing with alliteration.

As far as we can tell, the June 30th date is for JAPAN, not the U.S.  We've added the boxart to the site, but there's nothing else to go on yet.  Sorry.

According to Gamestop's web site the release date is June 30th. As far as I know they are NA domestic only, not an import company. That and word from Gaming Cubed are what I am getting it from.  They got their info from n-gamer.com who got it from Gamestop's web site.

I disagree, I like the name.  And the reason poets use alliteration in their poems is because it sounds good; it allows the words to flow of the tongue.

It won't be too long before it comes out in US will it?  It's not an RPG or a conversation-heavy game, so the localization shouldn't be too bad.

Something looks really wrong about Peach... not just the different outfit...

I like the new Mario silhouette on the left side of the logo, though, looks good.

Hey, it's a heck of a lot better than the N64 days, when all the games had a "64" tacked on the end. Would you rather they put a big "GC" on the end of the title?

I like the new titles.

I will glady stick to the Tiger Woods series, thanks.

As for the name, it will only add to the "kiddie" image.

If you're looking for BigN to give up their kiddy image, Mario games are not the place to look.
