Topic: golden sun transfer help

need help it always says its waiting to transfer and i have 2 gameboys linked

COME ON IN NEED HELP

first thing is to make sure that the cable is locked into both gameboy advances
next you turn on both systems and go to the one with the original golden sun
when it gets to the screen where you choose to make a new game or whatever press and hold: "R" "start" "left on the d pad"
after that you should get a choice for transfer and choose cable option
on the golden sun 2 gba make sure you entered a name for felix and then choose yes to transfer over the information
then choose cable transfer for the way you will do it
after that it should say something like "ok to transfer" and you should press the "A" button to confirm that choice
the "B" button cancels the choice
just make sure your cable is on correctly and that both gba systems are on cable transfer
the "B" button cancels your choice in the game so remember to press the "A" button

this should all be in the instruction book if you need extra help
make sure you completed the original game fully and then do it

I'm pretty sure you have to enter the code before starting a new game, however all the transfer code does is carry over your party members' stats from the previous game.  If you don't have the original game, there's really no reason to care.  It's just a nice way of continuing the game into the sequel.
