Well, Rabbids Go Home was actually pretty good. So who knows, this one could be good too.

Rocket launchers attached to your neck?  Feels like a car crash each time you pull the trigger.

Ghost Recon graphics look very smooth, very lifeless.

Man, a whole lot of shooter games went up on stage today, between Microsoft; EA; and Ubisoft.  What, is there an active movement now to completely obliterate that genre through overexposure?

And would it kill them to have color in this game?

They've been already trying that for years.  They seem to be trying harder now though.

Not an active movement, but the passive effects of an industry lacking creativity and originality.

FPS games sell in the US.  So they keep making them.  When they stop selling, they'll stop making them or try to turn everyone somewhere else.

Yes, FPS is the safe choice when you don't have any unique ideas capable of selling outside the genre.  The big-wigs would love to sell the next "GTA" or "WiiSports", but these kinds of new games are limited to very few companies.

That bugged the hell out of me, too.

And visually this game looks noticeably inferior to quite a few recent car-based games like Split/Second.  Hell, they're even ripping off Split/Second's "Shattered Glass" presentation schtick.
