How long is it going to take the 360 slim to RROD? Honestly, I was not imressed by anything Microsoft had to offer, but I am curious to see how Nintendo reacts to the Kinect. Overall, Nintendo and Sony will have a much better show with Nintendo taking E3 this year with the new Zelda and the 3DS.

Spike's made its disdain for Nintendo perfectly clear ("Wii GOTY: NSMBWii. Moving onto more imporant things: the candidates for the award for Best Lighting In A Sewer Scene (Nighttime)! are...*five minute montage*"), so it's no surprise that they're skipping the conference.

Regarding the timing, Eastern time is three hours ahead of Pacific, so G4's coverage will begin at 8:30.  Presumably, with commentary rather than the actual conference.

Did that really happen?

I exaggerate, but not by very much.  Most categories got extensive lead-up, trailers for each candidate, etc., and the 360+PS3 GOTYs doubly so.  The Wii's GOTY was literally thrown in with some of the most minor categories, and dispensed with in under a minute or so.

Yes, but of course he left out that every console Game of the Year at that Spike Awards Ceremony got a 5 second blurb in the middle of the show.

Wow, EA just got an assist for Sony, promising to show more Dead Space 2 at tomorrow's E3 Press Conference.   The game looks awesome, though, even if it does look like more of the same.  In this case, considering it still looks like a survival horror game, that's fine with me.   ;D

Something tells me we're going to see Dead Space 2 with Move controls tomorrow, which would be very welcome, indeed.

Yeah, seriously though: this is how you do an E3 Press Conference: games, games, and more games!

I'm not feeling this new Medal of Honor, but it's not really my kind of game anyway.  It does look nearly exactly like Modern Warfare 2, though.

Wow, that Battlefield 2 expansion pack trailer was spectacularly underwhelming.

And here come the EA Sports, and watch as tune out for the next 15 minutes out of disinterest (especially these days).
