So is anyone shocked that a licensed game is a pile of *censored*?

Anyone?

I had a great time recording this episode, and looks like Andy did a good job editing my part in (that's the thing I was worrying about the most).

Man, I can't understand Pedro, the strong accent combines with a low volume and bad audio quality to form just noise that I can't decipher. It's already hard enough to understand regular podcast talk when walking along a street with all the cars driving by but this was exponentially worse.

I haven't listened to it yet, so I don't know how much Andy cut, but I'm sorry if we go horribly off-topic often. Andy is the glue that keeps Zach and me in line.

1. I don't have the proper audio equipment, I just used the built in microphone in my laptop (which has worked for me in the past). On my end, the recording came in fine. We recorded this very late in the night so the place was as quiet as possible. I assume that what Andy did was lower the volume and eliminate the background noise, so my voice sounded muted.

2. I can't do much about my accent, and I hate it myself. Combine this with my anxiety of recording through Skype and I become a bad speaker.

Don't worry about your accent. That's not what I noticed. It just sounds like your sound came in loud sometimes, quiet others. I recommend a headset mic for the future.

I thought Andy did a wonderful job cutting around our long, unnecessary tangents.

Sorry for the audio inconsistencies.    Part of the problem was that Pedro was using an open mic instead of a headset, and I would occasionally pick up passing cars and him moving his chair around or something.   Also, I could hear Zach and Neal's voice too clearly on his feed, so I had to run it through a noise reduction filter, which made it a bit worse.

I'm still learning when it comes to trying to clean up audio, so you can blame this one on me, not Pedro.

Pedro's accent was not hard for me to understand, but the low volume made it hard to hear him. I cranked it up on my car stereo so I could hear him at all, but then Neal and Zach were booming in comparison. Starting with good recording equipment is always the most important thing for podcasting. Otherwise, it was a fun show. Congrats to Pedro on his podcast debut!

For what it's worth, I'm currently editing episode 18, and this episode is our best to date, audio quality wise.

I'm learning!
