I had read about this several days ago. I already own all of the games listed except for Lugaru HD and Aquaria. The idea makes for a great promotion. DRM-free, cross-platform games are always welcome anyway. I'd say that the bundle is well worth at least several dollars and anyone's time. ;)

The Bundle now includes Samorost 2, a very pretty point and click adventure.

I got the package.  I already have World of Goo, but I'm really looking forward to Aquarias.  I've never heard of the others, but I'll give them a shot now.

When you say World of Goo demo, do you mean that tower-building thing?  If so, that's very unrepresentative of the actual game.  I didn't see what they demoed on the Wii.

I call you a cheap bastard and then make fun of your family for being poor?

I paid $10 (all to the developers).  I don't plan to play any of the games any time soon, but I just wanted to support the indie devs.  Plus, I needed an excuse to give more money to 2D boy.  I <3 World of Goo.

i didnt pay 0.00, when you type 0.00 and then click on the next field a disheveled man with a sign pops up holding a sign that says "indie developer: need food to make games. Can you spare a dollar?". One of his legs is in a cast. rough time, rough times.

I did the same, never heard of any of the games (except WoG) but things like this and the Radiohead In Rainbows album release deserve support.

Yeah I sent $10 all to the developers too. Those greedy little buggers at Child's play make out like bandits from PA already.

They way I look at it, there's a chance that some of the kids who benefit from Child's Play might make games one day, but these guys are making games NOW.  Seems like a safer bet.

*shaking head*

That is simultaneously absurd and hilarious.  There are no words...

Oh, and I split my cash 50/50.  This is supposed to be for charity, after all.

So looking at the site, they've made over a million dollars and 31% is going to charity. Assuming the donated game isn't getting a cut, that leaves each indie developer is getting a $150k. Not too shabby.

Also, most of the games are going open source.
