I played that game on Newgrounds. It's amazing because it tests you skills by putting other gameplay mechanics into SMB1 by just the characters alone.

Link is awesome.

I think Samus is the most powerful when she is at full power, and very playable.  Unfortunately getting her to that state is harder.

Mega Man is fun, and just seems to fit in every game environment.

Billy and Simon were the 2 I thought were most lacking.  Playable, but not enjoyable.

Link is playable but very difficult.  His size is awesome though, because he can dodge well.

I really need to get a SNES-USB adapter just for this game.

What is really amazing is how great the level design is for Super Mario Bros.  You see that the levels work even with characters they are not designed for...not only works, but is fun.

Though you can see places were it is better to go with Mario...like Water levels.

I really need to get a SNES-USB adapter just for this game.

If you have Bluetooth on your computer you can get software that will let you connect a Wii remote and use a classic controller with your computer.

That one's not so hard to play, but it's very well done.

Have you played Super Mario 63? It's incredible.

Super Mario 63 is good...but it lacks something playing on the keyboard....and some of the charm of Mario is gone from the uneven level design.
