holy shizmsnat!! Nintendo already has at least one game a month that I am seriously interested in. I don't know if I can afford much more than that at this rate. Even more, they have Ewoks in there!! I love the Ewoks, they rock .

Yeah seriously, to me even the old pics looked nothing short of amazing. These show off some great lighting effects and incredible detail.

What is really impressive is if you read the article. Factor 5 is going all out. This game could be game of the year material.

Any chance they will implement LAN gaming for the 2P-Co-Op aspect like in MK: DD?

I believe that would ice this cake.

While this looks really awesome and ill buy the game anyway, I hope the inside running/person fighting action is more than a gimmick.
If that part of the game is well executed this may be one of the best games ever. I still wish it didnt have to be Starwars all the time.

Have you read the EGM article? It's far more than a gimmick. There are entire missions comprised of mainly on foot work. Like when you save Leia from the Death Star and such....

I don't want to ruin the party, but isn't anyone sick of Factor 5 developing star wars games where you fight for the Rebel?  I want game where you fight for the Empire.  Yes, that's right.  TIE Fighter still remains one of my favourite PC games.  It was so cool being a pilot for the Empire and nothing beat having Darth Vadar as your wingman.  Nothing.  I'm bored of being one of these Rebel scums.  I wanna join the dark side once again!  It is our destiny....

Maybe in this game they'll change that and have it so your doing sorta a Sonic Adventure 2 storyline.  It would be interesting, and I know that Factor 5 has Skywalker sounds help in making this game, so sound is never a issue.

Wow, those screenshots look great.
and if they make all the features true (flying to space from the battle of hoth and back ) this simply goes to the top of my gamecube games wanted list.

AiAi: Well, the series is called ROGUE Squadron, which is a Rebel fleet. I'd perosnally like to see some EU stuff- Gabe made a good point that the Classic Era has been done a thousand times. The NJO and even the X-Wing series could provide a TON of great material. Still, I agree it'd be kind of cool to be fighting against the Rebels (maybe like in the Darth Vader missions in RL? ).

LOL, I loved that from the movie when I watched it.  Wouldn't it be great if they got Mark Hamill himself to add his real voice acting.  Ahhhh think of the possiblities.....

From the Nintendophiles thread:

"If I read that article right, RS3 has 13 entirely new levels and 7 bonus levels NOT is RS2. Then, in addition, they included every single level and bonus level in RS2 in a coop mode. This is no doubt RS3 with an added RS2.1 bonus in it."

20 missions is not bad, not bad at all. Especially when you take into account that all of RL's missions are included in co-op (that's like another 15, I think).

exactly!  that would be soooooooo cool!  but that would only happen if Factor 5 made a game in which you play for the Empire *drools*

No thats not bad at all, I really hope that the missions are longer, and the ground missions are really fun and atmospheric.
