EasyCure is addicting most talked about forum poster?? maybe!
I entered your username into the search bar and it returned 32 pages of results. You might be right...

Oh boy, i'm popular on the internet, and without a myspace/facebook to boot! huzzah...

/sarcasm

LOL, has anyone ever gotten upset at you for you not putting them in your 'top 8' on MySpace?

For like the month i had a myspace, yes it happened from one "friend" but this was the same friend that was mad at me for not even having a myspace to begin with. This is also the same "friend' that told me about another friends brother being murdered the day after the funeral.

I don't need fake people like that trying to friend request me just so i can be added to their little list and forgotten just so they can extend the size of their e-penis. Sure it might make a few things easier, like all those people at work who asked me on my last day if i had a facebook to stay in touch, but the truth of the matter is if we were'nt friendly enough to at one point exchange phone numbers or at least email, then perhaps I don't wanna stay in touch anyway.

I have similar sentiments. With my now mostly neglected MySpace I just friended whoever asked. When I got a Facebook, I was a little more particular who I accepted. So I declined random people who I only knew a little bit or who I never got a long very well with. It may ruffle a few feathers along the way, but I don't want to add a bunch of people who I'll most likely never talk to again.

And even then I've found I'm friends on Facebook with people who won't talk to me. I comment or leave messages on their walls and some of them just never respond. I think it really shows who your real friends are in some ways as the people you actually have a legitimate connection with will stay in contact with you and respond to you. A lot of people probably just try to have a bunch of 'friends' on the social networking sites to feel less lonely about their real life and lack of true friends.

I'll be the first to admit I don't have many people in my life i'd currently consider true friends and I'm still not desperate enough to sign up for myspace/facebook, even with all the peer pressure (lol!).

Is it sad that Unclebob sends me text more often than some people i've known for years?

Wait, don't answer that ;)

Facebook is great for one thing and one thing only: parties. I allow people who I've only seen once or twice to become friends because it expands my network. On the flip side, I don't let anyone see my photos (apart from my profile) or any sensitive information.

This makes for the perfect online footprint that allows me to get invited to a bunch of parties while letting people who don't really know me never get the chance to (at least through online).

I use to send mass texts out to 20 or 30 people on my phone saying "Where the party at?" and just let it chill as I take a shower and get ready. Now I can just look at the parties online and even check to see what mamacitas are attending.

Other than that though, facebook sucks ass. It's so boring and the chat feature sucks.

Facebook has this app called Friends For Sale, great place to meet new people and flirt, get the foot in the door... but I'm married and only hear of these things from my single friends...

I think we all know what I'm addicted. Byzantium. Oh, and mafia. And Civilization 4. And there's glue. What am I saying? I picked the wrong week to quit taking methamphetamines.

I love Civ4!

I can play that game for days. Literally.

It was great when I lived in the dorms in college because several other people were always playing. Though most of my Civ loving friends hate to play against each other. Most of them were all 'comp stomp' and nothing else. They were the same with StarCraft :P

Have you tried The Civ4 Colonization game, Khush? That is pretty fun too.

the girl i took to see star trek. i met her off myspace
Yeah man even Scribe's little brother got a root of myspace.

I know a guy who used to live with a guy who just rooted tons of chicks off myspace. He'd trawl for teenage scene girls, message them saying he liked all the same bands, invited them over, bought a bottle of vodka and bam 16 year old sex. What a dickhead.

No. Never played Colonization. I like Civ so much I even bought the weak DS version of Civilization Revolutions. It's good but I like a good epic game over a large world.

I've been meaning to pick up the DS Civ game for a while. I'd like a portable version for traveling.

I'm not addicted to anything at all.

"Vampires" is all I'll say on that matter at the moment.

I am a vampire, so I can't be addicted to them. So THERE.

The space monkeys are cleared out. Everything is relocated, the liposuction fat, the bunk beds, the money, especially the money. Only the garden is left behind, and the rented house.
