I haven't had taco bell, in general, for so long but that's what I had the last time I was there. Even better, I "conned" the taco maker to hook it up with volcano sauce. I bought two and I was well satiated.

Taco Bell is one of the few fast-food restaurants which doesn't make me puke. Doesn't mean it's any good, just that it isn't as bad as most others.

That's weird because taco bell is by far my LEAST favorite place to eat only because I feel sick immidiatly after eating their food. Last time I went I was suckered into trying some then-new borrito they had, which was basically their "fiesta potatos" in a soft tortilla + bacon, and while good (albeit a tad too salty) by my last bite I wanted to throw up.

Meanwhile McD's, BK, even White Castle I can stomach just fine the few times I visit there. And while I'm at it, KFC's potato wedges are the SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!

Taco Bell is a franchise so I'm sure the quality and cleanliness varies between locations.
Also, I've been there only once and it was a long time ago. I think I just got a regular beef taco, and since I didn't like it then I haven't tried any of their other menu items.

McDonald's burgers taste like the black stuff which forms under refrigerators. Burger King tastes like charcoal. KFC is another of the few which doesn't make me sick, though the chicken tastes like cardboard. The sides are good though, like the potato wedges you mentioned.

I'm sure I could build up a tolerance if I went there more often but that's pointless since I don't like any of it.

Unlike the other franchises you mentioned, Taco Bel is the ONLY one that everyone I've ever been to is just god awful in every department. Foods never great (can be tastey but there's always something wrong, whether its cold or the ingredients are FAR from fresh), staff is retarded, facilities are disgusting, etc. It's sad because from time to time they'll have an item on the menu I can enjoy, but have to pass up because I'm certain I'll walk away with a horrible experience.

I actually don't have fast food that often, so I can't really agree that any of those things taste like you described, since every place has at least one item on the menu I can tolerate.

Well obviously i'll never be able to visit every Taco Bell chain out there, but considering I've been to a couple in various cities of this state, and even TWO as far as Florida (I'm from NY mind you).. well it doesn't give me much confidence to keep going back to the franchise when I have so many other, more tolerable places, to choose from.

I've been to more good McD's and BK's than shitty ones, hell I've been to a McD's Express that was nicer than some of the regular McD's I've been to, but I just haven't been lucky with Taco Bell.

Oh and i'd just like to mention that the only White Castle I've ever been to, which is actually a block and a half away from my apartment, is the only fast food chain I've been to that serves there food thru a window of what I have to assume is bullet proof glass. I love this city.

You're probably not going to find a good Taco Bell, I just generally don't like generalizations is all.

The only fast-food joint I like is a local one called Skyline Chili. I can't always stomach chili very well, but it's so good that I don't care. Of course, if I'm not feeling up for a coney or something then their salads are pretty good too. They sell the chili and the cheese in the grocery store and so I buy it there more often than at the restaurant. It isn't quite as good but it is cheaper.

They will bring your food to you, they will get you refills while you sit at your table, and they actually prepare their food fresh every day (my cousin used to work there), oh, and it's fucking delicious.
