Major Praise For Scribblenauts in Latest Trailer
« on: August 18, 2009, 03:57:48 PM »
The newest trailer for Scribblenauts opens with a quote from Nintendo World Report!
 http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/newsArt.cfm?artid=19823

WB Games released the latest trailer for 5th Cell's innovative game, Scribblenauts.

The game allows you to write almost anything you can think of and have it appear on screen and be used to solve puzzles. It's currently set for a September 15 release.

It should be noted that this trailer begins with a quote from our own E3 impressions.

The does look to be incredible. I only got to play it for a few minutes at E3, but it seemed to deliver on the open-ended promises.

Also, congrats to Zach! It's always exciting to see quotes from our site.

Shame on you!  This game along with Professor Layton and Mario & Luigi 3 in the span of just a few weeks is too good to be true!
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Professor Layton is great.  Buy it.  If you like charm and puzzle games you won't be disappointed.

The M&L games are largely independent of one another.  There were only a few brief references to the original in the sequel.  Also, the M&L2 was horribly disappointing--you're probably better off skipping it and jumping straight into the third one.

That is at least three kinds of awesome.
This would be my PSN Trophy Card, but I guess I can't post HTML in my Signature. I'm the pixel spaceship, and I have nine Gold trophies.

I think they changed the trailer at some point. I originally watched it elsewhere before we got a PR e-mail about it and it said October instead of September 15. I was bummed out when I initially saw that.
Sorry for the miscue and thanks for pointing it out.
