Let's see...

Ness appeared in the original Super Smash Brothers and a new game in that series was released four years later, although only in Japan.

Marth and Roy appeared in Super Smash Brothers Melee and that series came to North America soon thereafter.

Pit appeared in Super Smash Brothers Brawl and his game is now soon to be revived on the 3DS.

That just leaves the Ice Climbers as being due for a comeback, does it not?

Which E3 letter?  The one where you talk about blah blah blah blah?

It's inspired something.  Unfortunately, I've been on a week-long string of "I'm out of town" until earlier this evening.  I'm that un-awesome.  Good news is, I should be able to read it aloud pretty soon, if things go to plan.
