Well if this system had looked good I was thinking about getting one. It was just leaked.

Video leak

Some facts:
-16 Gig memory, Memory slot for more memory.

-Released Fall 2009.

-No official price yet.

-PSP Go will not replace the PSP 3000. They will both be sold.

-Gran Turismo PSP will be shown at E3

-No UMD

no touch screen? if not then FAIL

does it still have a UMD slot?
what is the price?

where is the second analog ~~stick~~ nub? they have the room now, so why not include it.
did they still stick with mem-sticks? if yes then FAIL (the new SE phone uses microSD)
SDcard won, Sony should just accept that and conform to standards.

It looks terrible. Why would anyone want this? A larger screen is only going to make the games look worse.

No UMD slot, no price point announced, yes to Micro memory sticks(Sony will always stick to their own standards), no second nub.

The point of the PSP Go is if people don't want to deal with UMDs and just download games and content. In Qore the Sony rep said that this is NOT replacing the PSP-3000.

Okay so this means that Sony still isn't marketing to Nintendo's audience. They've essentially decided to keep their own market. I bet piracy is wicked locked on this thing.

Till next-gen Sony. Expect a more casually marketed handheld later on.

I hope this will drive down the price of a used PSP-3000. I wouldn't mind picking one up for cheap in order to play homebrew and the hand full of games I'm interested in (FFT, Mega Man Powered Up & Maverick Hunter, Castlevania Dracula X)

The ashetics feel off. It seems unbalanced, like the screen would be too heavy. I wonder what the price point will be.

Why is the screen still open to the elements? Seriously, copy Nintendo's clamshell design, it just makes sense.

It's just my personal opinion, but I actually don't like the clamshell design of the DS.

I agree in regards to aesthetics, but supposedly it weighs less than the DSi.

Why would anyone want to buy this machine when they probably already have something they can download games onto? Anyone who wanted a portable gaming system will buy a "real" one, such as a DS or regular PSP.

I don't think it looks ugly. The lack of a UMD drive basically makes it useless to me though. Sony should have kept the UMD drive even though its pretty obvious why they got rid of it (battery life, size etc.).

Why the hell does it slide instead of fold? Folding means the screen is protected when it's closed, sliding just invites scratches. Oh, right, the PSP is designed for looks, not usage.
