Does anybody watch this show? An on-air canadian science fiction show that's GOOD?

The cliffhanger right at the end of S1 was jaw dropping!

I actually have the 8 internet webisodes that preceded Season 1, and the tone is slightly different in them. But now they fleshed out some storylines (the Cabal in particular) and made more use of John Druitt it feels more like a universe of its own now. I actually like how "abnormals" are approached in comparison to Heroes, where they seem to do continually stupid things.

What's your thoughts?

I need to start watching Season 3 if it hasn't already started elsewhere. Here in Canada, SPACE will start airing S3 on May 13. I could always download the episodes, but I will do that once I get my 10 Mbps connection back.

I am now. Holy damn is this series awesome. I was sad with the departure of Nick Cutter, but every single episode so far is great with the new cast members, so it's all good. I still want him back though, I really liked his accent lol.
Is this series broadcast in HD in the UK? I've been hoping for a release of this series on Blu-Ray, but I've only found it on DVD so far.

It's not broadcast in HD here either, even though ITV have a HD channel, but it looks amazing even without it.

Plus it's been confirmed there is going to be a MOVIE! And apparently... there is going to be a USA spinoff where anomalies happen there.

A USA spinoff would be cool, but I would prefer that they focus their resources on one side only.

Primeval has been CANCELLED! It was still doing well ratings wise (6 million or so), but it's expensive to make and ITV have lost a ton of money and the CGI is their excuse.
The movie and US spin-off is still ongoing though.

I'm really disappointed. You don't cancel stuff that popular.

Happens all the time for exactly the same reason.  When "reality" shows can pull in enough viewers with almost no budget at all, high quality but expensive shows just don't stand a chance no matter how popular they are, even if they're making money.
