But what does the Stop N Swap really add?  Anything worthwhile?

I don't know because I've only collected one cart. It ads a new depth to the game and if you were any kind of fan of B-K back in the N64 games it should bring back memories of the promise of Stop N Shop. Are the rewards amazing from what I understand? Nah, but if you hold any nostalgia for B-K you will appreciate it.

But Stop N Swap was unlockable in the original BK game w/o BT. I'll bet when you get a cart or item in BT it opens one of the secret levels hidden in BK. If that is the case I already saw all those secret levels  ;D

It really wasn't the same thing, besides you had to put in mile long codes to get them to open.

I'm just saying, if that's all that Stop N Swap was I'd be a bit disappointed after all these years of wondering, especially since I already experienced those secret levels.

what's sad is I spent days systematically punching coded in to see what was hidden. There were some random things that seemingly did nothing but they chimed. I wish I kept the paper I wrote them on.

Yup, out of the curiosity of my mind what are your 3 favrite BK/BT levels? 1 being best....

Hmmm... I love them all, if I had to pick one, it would be the Theme Park in BT. I enjoy all the levels, each has so many cool diffrent features, VERY diverse, but I also found one thing in each level I hated... I am obsesive collecting every note, and I hate those 1-3 hidden ones, and also rusty bucket bay was MURDER for the engine rooms with propellers! Ohh... I tried so many time to get the note for that level.... My other two are VERy hard to pick, but I'll say click clock woods, and errr.... Clankers cavern! I love that guy, he needs to be brought back!

Dude, I can't even remember half of the levels in those games. I think that means it's high time for a replay. I'll hold out for when one of them is up for RetroActive.

I remember the Pirate level with the underwater part and the tavern with the jukebox.

I think I more enjoyed exploring the overworld as opposed to any given level. There was always a level of mystery and every corner had a secret to unveil to the intrepid explorer.

True man. The level you are refearing too is Jolly Rogers Bay, the boss is LOrd Flak Flak, the first and only under water boss, very neet.

I didn't really like the first game, it just felt like such a chore with the amount of garbage you have to collect. I would only collect garbage if it counted as community service for a future crime or something.

Banjo-Tooie was awesome though, I really need to give that game another go, it has been so long. For some reason the fire 'n ice level comes to my mind, I think it was called Hailfire Peaks. It had a fire side and an ice side, and I think there were things you could do on either side which affected the other side.

Yup, also there are aliens in Jolly rodger Bay, if you free them, they will give you a jiggy and fly away... You find them at hail fire peak... literly dead. You have to be mumbo jumbo to bring them back from the dead, and later get their kids. That is really cool how charectors reapear throughout the game, one level effects the other.

Also the Snow ball transformation was cool, and I love the dragon Bros. who like pizza.

It has been awhile since I played B-T so when I got it on 360 LIve I was really blown away by how MASSIVE the overworld is in the game. I remember it being big but not that big, it is almost Zelda big.

That is a great point, I never thought of it that way before, but you are right. The only thing about zeldas field though is with no jumping, and open plains, it can be very boring. The mole tunnels make transporting very easy too, no need for an ocarina ;D

Yeah the mole tunnels make things fun to traverse. If you want to explore, you can, but if you want to get from point A to point B it is quick and easy.

I remember getting excited whenever I opened up a second cauldron in a pair for BK because a lot of them are much later in the game. I found like 4 or 5 first cauldrons before I found a single second one so I was happy when I could finally use a set for warping.

Yah I know.... but the two most usefull ones are the hardest to find! The click clock woods one is in a corner of a meadow, almost completely under the grass line....

Hay, what where your favorite transformations?

I liked, Bumble Bee BK/BT
Submarine BT
Big T-rex BT
Crocodile BK
And finally the snow ball from Hailfire peaks. Very cool, your size is represented by the amount of life you have left, and you had to do suicide runs through the fire section as snow ball to complet task as you melt! very well thought of!
