LOL, I think my auto pager is throwing me off. If I am scrolling down a page when another one loads for some reason it sometimes bounces back a page so I think I am on the most recent page when I am actually not. Might explain a number of things. I'll have to double check to make sure I actually did read the whole thread.

start reading a thread form the very last post you made yourself. It helps.

Click "reply" and then scroll down and read all of the posts on that screen. If more than 20 are new, chances are you shouldn't be posting in that thread.

or you can click on the little blue button next to the topic title that says "New" and it will take you to the newest post(on that page) since the last time you entered the thread.

sometimes i go in to a thread and don't get to read up to the last post, so when i come back the "new" button takes me past post i hadn't gotten to yet. Thats why i play it safe and go back to my last post.

I have been reading the LOZ 2005 thread and I fave the page that I stop on then when I make another fave when I stop.
On smaller threads I usually just start at the begining.

Now please stop bumping this.

Some browsers refer to "bookmarks" as "favourites".
