If you like him in Batman, you'll like him in this.
TVman is dead. I killed him and took his posts.

I just got back from seeing the movie.  It was good.  Better than Terminator 3 by leaps and bounds.

The funny thing is, though, I would have easily given this movie up for a two-hour series finale of the television show.

Just like Star Trek, this movie had some surprises. I loved it. I don't know about the choice for Reese, but he is a teenager in this film. And the little girl with the shotgun, completely unbelievable. Not because she is a little girl totting a gun, but because of her cutesy image. Everyone is dirty and grimy, haggard with fighting, and here's this little girl with perfect hair and all of her teeth. I know girls (cause I have 3 around her age) and no way no how would a kid in that situation be like that. Though it could have been worse and she could have been like the kid in Robocop 2.

What was really well done was that one scene near the end... you know... I'm not even going to put in spoilers but man, great stuff.

I think we should test that hypothesis. Let's create a post-apocalyptic world and put kids in that situation! Science is fun!

I can agree with you about the little girl.  However, I wondered why she was mute and perhaps its not because she is mute, but because she has completely shut down?

We need to make this a spoiler thread so we can discuss in detail. I just about **** my pants when the scene that bustin98 is referring to started. It was perfectly executed. I read some review that talk about a lack of character development - first of all, it takes place over 4 days, and the main character (that isn't John Connor) develops very greatly from beginning to end.

If the girl had completely shut down, she wouldn't have done what she did at the end of the movie. And I'm not saying she can't be mute. That's fine, if not already done before. At least she didn't talk at the end by some miracle.

I should finally be seeing this movie tonight. I'm hoping i don't have to pay for the tickets because i still have the tickets i bought LAST friday, which if you read my thread in the funhouse you'll know I ended up not using because i was getting drunk with my gf and some coworkers instead...

The place i go to is usually pretty cool about doing a sort of ticket exchange if you were unable to see a showing, plus i go see a flick there almost every weekend so alot of the staff knows my face by now and are usually a little nicer to me and my girl than the rest of the patrons.

Wish me luck though, cuz i'm feeling cheap tonight!

Feeling cheap?

It's like 9 AM and you've already started drinking?
