Really? What was the circumstance?
I didn't want to make a new thread and I already sent it into NWR (I don't think they received some of the last things I sent them since they never showed up on the site) but here is some newsNintendo revealed 3 new colors for the DSiXL:Blue, Yellow & Greenalong with price drops for all DS models (DSL, DSi & DSiXL)DSlite from ¥16,800 to price openDSi from ¥18,900 to ¥15,000DSi LL from ¥20,000 to ¥18,000 http://www.nintendo.co.jp/ds/index.html

I expect another price drop in the fall just before the 3DS releases.

Unlike in Japan, where DS sales are slowing down (and the likely reason for the price drop), DS sales are as strong as ever here in the US.
