Everyone here calls it "pop" too, and we don't have to live in some backwards third-world nation like Canada to do it.

I don't really have a preference among these choices, but I do tend to avoid fountains because they can be really bad if not adjusted correctly.

I hope you guys realise that the (so called) fountains are watered down concentrates that are often made of entirely different ingredients than the true, genuine bottled and canned products.

And geezes krighst, it's called 'soft drink'.

Actually when Soda is bottled outside of the United States you can usually get it with real sugar instead of Corn Syrup.  Real Sugar is always the way to enjoy soda, because it cuts the sweetness down, but is still great.

I really hate America for its stupid sugar tariffs that only allow us to import a certain amount of sugar at a competitive rate and then you must buy the rest of your sugar from either American farmers or at a very high import tax.

Mexico has great cokes for this reason.

I have never had a bad fountain Cherry Coke.

Also, I have never had a bad fountain Mr. Pibb.  But now coke had to go and make that horrible Pibb Xtra which ruins the taste.

Mr Pibb was like the Coke's version of Doctor Pepper but I thought it was even better, then they added more sugar and caffeine and basically ruined the flavor, and took the original off the market.

BOO!!!!

Coming from Sudan, they use real sugar as well. It tastes like gold; smooth and delicious. It can take only a couple seconds to drink because of how tasty it is.

Also, I wish the US used there system of recycling empty glass bottles, in that you take your empties to the store, drop them off in the designated area for a discount, then feel free to purchase more to take home. The bottles are then taken from the store and shipped to the bottling plant where they clean them and then fill them up again.
