Apparently if you register a lot of games Reggie gives you a letter
I WANT THAT!

Does anyone have any idea as to how many products you need to register in order to get that? I'm sure the exact number isn't known, so just an estimate will do.

125!!! Sheesh, that's a lot of games.
Wait, is that 125 products which were simply registered, and not 125 which qualify for coins? If it's the former, maybe I could register some of my old GameCube and GBA games and see what happens.

It was about 125 total (GBA, GCN, Wii, DS and systems).
It's probably too late to get in on this - the letter says "During the transition from My Nintendo to Club Nintendo, I noticed just how many product registrations you have on file, and I was very impressed" - as the transition is over, I'm guessing you're out of luck. :(
You might go ahead and register, you never know...

LOL, just checked, exactly 100. But, actually, no LOL because no letter >:(

Drat! I guess that means I'd have to look for one on eBay or something.
Maybe I'll still register the junk and see what happens.

Mind if I ask how many products you had registered, Flames of Chaos?
Maybe I could find a scan of it online and then print it out. Nobody has to know... 8)

I'm guessing it was just easier to make it all Mario. Most of that artwork is from Mario Party 8, so it was probably what they had the easiest access to.

If I could have remembered my old My Nintendo username and password I may have gotten a card like that too!  As it is, I could only register newer DS and Wii games.

I got one too but there's a slight visible crease in the picture, it must have gotten bent while in the mail. That damn U.S. Postal Service keeps making me mad, first with the announcement that they may be getting rid of Saturday delivery and now this.

I thought they didn't *want* to get rid of Saturday or Monday because they didn't want the two days off together... I thought they were discussing Tuesday?  Did I miss something?

Maybe you're right, I heard it from someone else and they may have had it wrong or I may have heard it wrong. Either way, as a Netflix subscriber I'm extremely opposed to losing any mail days.

The very same. It would have been cool to get it in another color, maybe in the next cycle.

Nintendo has released a silver game case with an aluminum stylus for 700 points. It's like they waited for me to order the white case.

Holy crap! I want it. I need 280 points, and hopefully the DSi and a few nintendo published games should do it before June.
June is the month when they will reset the points, right?

Yeah the points reset themselves in June and I guess this means we can expect some new items from time to time. Caliban, what's funny about this is that I have exactly 280 coins right now.

Nintendo doesn't reset any points.  June 30 is the cutoff to reach Platinum status (600 points) for the year.  If you have Platinum status on June 30 Nintendo will send you free stuff (good stuff, judging by what Japan got).  You then have to register another 600 points worth of stuff to get Platinum status for the next year.  But your accumulated point total is safe until you spend it.  It will not be reset on July 1.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!
