Which is why I suspect that review scores of 1/5 and so were given because people hated the game before it came out so the reviewer wanted to please them. Even if the game is imbalanced, 1/5 implies it's so horribly broken it's not playable (regular crashes, game breaking bugs, missing AI, ...).

It is a fun game if you want a Smash Brothers or Power Stone esque game. I'm definitely not saying it is a great game. But it is a fun game even if it has some flaws.

Yeah and 1/5 is not "fun game with flaws", it's not even "fun game with big flaws", it's "broken mess that won't start or run properly".
