Man, tonight I had some great moments. The best of then all, though, was when I trapped four villagers with holes. I never did this on the GC and DS version, but was hilarious on the Wii. The best part was that I could talk to them and they could complain about the cold. Man, I was even tempted to leave them there and show them off to people, but felt compassionate at the last minute.

I even have pics! But sadly my card reader is busted for some reason

ThePerm: Despite it being the same game the Wii version is a far more immersive and polished experience. The expanded online mode and chat makes it worthwhile.

Hooray for not reading manuals! The thing is, I'd take a picture and looked for a save or delete option, and all that was there was the SD CARD buttong which i clicked on with the A button, and nothing happened. I just assumed maybe it saves automaticaly. When my play session was over i went into the Photo Channel to have some fun with the pics and send them out to a few of you guys, and they weren't there!! Thats when I read the manual and got pissed off.

I'll try to retake a few of them, but they won't be as special in my eyes.

It's is a rather dumb setup. They should have made it an option to have all the picto's you take automatically save to your SD card if you have the space. The ability to only hold one picture at a time is lame, especially when you want to save each part of a multipart conversation with one of your neighbors.

something else happened just now on my random late night session (my car died so i couldnt go out, so i'm trying to forget my stress with a nice relaxing game of AC<3), i neighbor said something awesome and i took a pic, but when i went to go save it i hit the 1 button by mistake... boo!

That's happened to me more than once.

It happened again yesterday, with snapshots of my villagers saying weird things about Pale and Pap64. It's weird cuz i don't even remember adding pale and Pap's is the only town i've been to, as well as the only one to visit my town!

I really want to recreate at least a few of the pics i took on my first day, but i'll feel like i'm cheating myself out of those special moments!.

MY TURN!

My very first visitor, Pedro (aka Pap64) from St. Hope. We're discussing some odd furniture in my tiny house..

Here I was trying to show off my Spirit costume, but my hat blew off and uh... what the hell Paps not even paying attention, he's too busy making out with my neighbors!

He really left his mark on Tutu... and my town in general!

After that visit, we went back to his town and i got a nice snapshot at his gate:

Next up is my visit to Looney town, home of Aaron (aka Maxi), where we were joined by S_B and Flames of Chaos.

Here I am sneaking up on the S_Bartin for the kill!

Heres an odd one. S_B and I are at Maxi's...house (i resisted the joke there!) when i noticed S_B at the computer for a while, then rush off to the bed. This is what i found on screen:

As neat as voice chat is, it just doesn't make for the awesome pics that text chat does.

but it did let you and Maxi portray your honest reactions to my joke

It would of been better, more appropriate even, if I was using wiispeak at the time. I wasn't sure if the way you guys read it resembled the german term for "bless you" (or whatever that translates to) or not.

I think both voice and text chat enhance the game significantly. Voice chat allows you to have long, clear conversations that makes the experience feel more social and personal. Animal Crossing is all about playing with friends and having social interaction so voice chat adds to that greatly. But text chat also allows you for some funny moments that, like S_B said, simply can't be replicated. Like running around the village with a text bubble that says '"I KEEL YOU!" while holding an axe.

That's why City Folk is now easily my favorite AC game out of the three released.
