I didn't know I had to apologize for buying, and playing, a lot of games.  I'm sorry I don't suck the marrow out of each one like you do; I don't revel in their sweet juices for weeks and weeks of apparent nirvana.  So you've played through Galaxy...good for you!  My congratulations.

And BTW, you're the one that started taking baseless Sony potshots.  So when I say something about my current disenchantment with the Wii library I'm a troll, but when somebody else says that about another system they're a conquering hero.  Bwahahaha whatever man.

People are over-reacting.  You say bad things about Nintendo games so they feel the need to say bad things about the games you like.  And then other people cheer them on because they're tired of hearing the same thing over and over again.  But all it does it cause you to come back in and say the same things over again and the cycle repeats.

Are they wrong to attack you?  Most definitely.  But that doesn't change the fact that you're staff and should be held to a higher standard than us regular folk.  Like it or not, your position at NWR makes people expect more from you.

Regarding my question before, I wasn't trying to insult your abilities as a reviews editor (or a podcast participant), so I apologize if it came across that way.  I really just want to know why you don't seek a position at a Sony or Microsoft fan site?  If the games you are truly interested in aren't on Nintendo's systems, why do you continue to care?  It doesn't make much sense for you to invest so much time and energy into something you ultimately don't believe in.

It was openly a potshot, if you visit any other part of the forum, you see them EVERYWHERE.  Your potshots are directed at the audience you serve, you never say anything new and they are everywhere. Even in unrelated threads.

Don't get Silks to leave, we need him. He's a great villain to rally against to promote forum unity. Also, he's quite a bit more tolerable on the podcast.

I think if you look at my posts over the past couple of weeks (this thread excluded, since it's gotten totally out of hand), I've really toned down the bitching.  I've made a concerted effort to stay above the fray.

As for writing for a Sony or Microsoft site, I could do that, but I enjoy working with the people on this site.  And I still do like Nintendo games, despite the fact that I don't always agree with their philosophies or business tactics.

Well since all he does is edit English and make suggestions (I'm guessing), and I don't blame him for enjoying the staff members. I'm doubting he needs to go for any reason. Just needs to tone it down.  Which he says he did.

I'm just surprised that everyone had or is having an issue with Silks, what's wrong with expressing your feeling toward a subject?!?! I highly doubt Silks would just be another blind Nintendo fanboy that just assimilates into the Nintendo fanboy hive mind or blind NWR Ninteno fanboy hive mind. I think everybody should understand that it's okay to have a different opinion.

If Silks wants to have a "Wii game boycott" then more power to him because it's not affecting your personal life if he does it so what do you care? But in my opinion I never really saw something that needs to be toned down from Silks.

You should read everything I posted about Silks and how he never retorts to any of it. Also listen to what Stogi just said.

I hate on Nintendo all the time in many threads, but Silks was continuously ripping down threads with the same subject matter over and over for like 2 weeks!
