I have to say WOW, that is using the Tetris Engine in a brilliant way to make something special and fun.

I already own and love Tetris DS and had no plans to buy this, however after these two videos I am SERIOUSLY considering buying this if this is a taste of things to come.

I think it has online mode and wii balance board support too so it looks like a winer.

I don't get why they couldn't do that Puzzle Shadow thing with standard pieces.  I'd be all over it if it weren't for that.  I'm always interested in new ways to play Tetris, so I hope there are enough good new modes to make it worth my while.

I think Puzzle Shadow would be incredibly difficult and rely too much on luck if they limited the pieces to the 7 normal shapes.

These new modes look like lots of fun.  I'll probably buy this even if they **** up the classic mode.

Great point. That would be insanely hardcore.

When I first saw that mode, I was hoping for a set order of normal tetrads.  The randomness is something of a turnoff regardless of the variety of shapes in a puzzle mode like that.
