Seeing Maxi and GP's great collections of stuff in their houses was impressive and slightly intimidating (I have so far to go!), luckily they were kind enough to give me some great Nintendo items to liven up my tiny, barren house. I came into GP's town strutting around in the Red Pikmin hat that Nintendo's been giving away here, only to have GP then become resolved to commit Pikminicide by repeatedly attacking me with a watering can. For shame!

Well I just came back from my little break with Animal Crossing so expect to see me a bit more except that I'm probably getting a job soon (thank god with the torrent of awesome games coming out).

Great Flames!
Maxi is dead. I killed him and took his posts and changed genders.

Thanks for the visit Maxi, don't know what happened with the disconnect though. I was going from Nookingtons second floor to first and then nothing. That was my first time in a Nookingtons EVER, and it was awesome!

I think i'll call it a night in AC though, sorry my visit to your town was so short. Maybe tomorrow.

Maxi: Maybe you should check your connection. Not to sound rude, but most of the disconnections I've experienced have happened when you were around.

Do you have anything on while you play? What type of connection do you have? What do you use to connect your Wii to the internet?

Check your router and your connection and maybe your games will play better.

EDIT: Maybe this thread by Pro should help:

I was a computer networks major so I should know these types of stuff as well. And it could be a lot of different reasons, I only get disconnects when verizon's router likes messing up to a point where I have to restart the services on my router.

The only disconnection I've experience that I know was my fault was when the power flickered and the router turned off. Also, this afternoon the connection dropped when I had my gates open because I was downloading something and the bandwidth was weak.

Again, not to put the blame on Maxi, but it seems most of my disconnections happen when he's in my village (or I am at his village).

I remember one time of NWR Fight night where when maxi joined a brawl room or was in a brawl match it caused everyone to disconnect from Nintendo WiFi. So I think Maxi is the source of this little problem(not trying to be mean or rude).

I noticed that too.

When I entered a match you hosted it was incredibly butter smooth, even when it had four players, items and a very active stage. When when I dueled against Maxi it was laggy.

Does this means that other people are using the connection while you play?

Let me explain this as clearly as I can.
It is someone elses connection that lives near me.I use the Wii to find an access point. There are lots of other Wi-Fi connections near me. Only one is unlocked.

I see.

The only real solution is to get your own connection and set up your own gaming hub. But I take it you can't afford it at the moment.

It could also be a connection that he's "borrowing" from his super nice neighbors that don't suspect a thing.

Anyway lets get this back on the subject at hand.

Ok I got my first charm and it states that someone from another town has to pull 8 weeds in my town.I don't think I have that many in my town yet but I'll let you guys know so you can come over.

Hey guys, I'm new to NWR and just started playing Animal Crossing. I'm hoping to play with some experienced players to see what I should be shooting for in my town. I've added my information on the friend code thread, so make sure you guys add me :).

P.S. Is the stuff in the lost and found near the town gate fair game? I always feel guilty taking stuff that isn't mine... What do you guys do?
