I realized today, at work, that i forgot to water my turnips yesterday after planting them only just this past Monday... I let out an expletive aloud, luckily no one heard.

There's hope. If you have the silver watering can you can revive dead turnips and flowers in a day.

I do not.

Speaking of silver though.. what's special about the silver net? I saw one at nooks and bought it just cuz.

You just need to buy 50 flower seeds in order to get the silver watering can. Or you can call a friend and have him or her water the turnip for you.

BTW the gates to my town are open, and will be for the rest of the night.

I think the Silver Net is a larger net, so to speak, so it would be easier to catch bugs.  I bought one the only time a silver tool was so far ever available at my Nook's.

Thanks, thats what i figured but when comparing the two the net itself didn't seem any larger so all i had to go by was the logic that it just HAS to be better than the original net. Too bad this season (and the time i usually get to play) doesn't have many bugs to catch.

I'm going to try an experiment: I'm going to mail one of my animals an entire gracie set and see how much of it finds its way into their house.

Today was a flea market so I bought out half of Kiki's furniture. I know that sending an animal something will cause them to put it in their house. I just wonder to what extent this works...

I believe you can send rare items to your animals and they will put it in their house. I sent my emo-horse Ed a snowman clock and he had it at his house the next day. If I could do this with the snowman furniture I think you can do it with the Gracie sets.

If you want great turnip prices, the gamefaqs AC board is your best bet.

http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/gentopic.php?board=933195

You'll find someone there whose Nook is buying turnips for some insane price, like 400+. They'll ask for a commission on your sale, like 30-50k. A full load of 1500 turnips can sell for 700k+ bells with a single one of these visits, so 50k commission is chump change.

Funny enough, Maxi, I got your New Year's present on the mail just as you gave me the present personally.

It seems the game has a weird delivery system. It didn't deliver the present until Maxi showed up in my village.
