OK, right now I am arguing against Josh Thomas (Wiifolder curator and porno superstar... :p) who has a petition to save the grass in Animal Crossing City Folk.
Here's the article:
http://wiifolder.com/?p=147#comment-11491The most annoying part about this is that he is deleting comments that say otherwise, many which were speaking the truth (mine were deleted too).
The reality of the situation is that far bigger petitions have been made in the past, some regarding important issues. And they have been ignored. If the gaming industry has ignored important cries of help and attention whose to say Nintendo will break tradition and care about what is basically digital grass.
Nintendo has NEVER been the type of company to release game patches because it would be them admitting that they released a glitchy game. If they saw an issue in a game they fix it in the next game and offer an apology.
If Nintendo does listen to the petition the least they will do is release a video or article about how to deal with the grass dying in the game.
I think what annoys me is that Josh is deleting comments and making sure the positive comments shine through, pretty much making him look like someone who can't stand opinions that aren't his own. As much as I disagree with Ian and even Mr. Vega's comments I would never delete them because its their right and as long as they aren't insulting, flaming or being disrespectful they DESERVE to be heard.
I don't know which annoys me the most...the elitist attitude or people caring over digital grass...
