ugh, I didn't know this was one of those time limit games, and I really can't stand them. I end up getting so nervous about doing everything in time that I can't enjoy anything. It's too nerve wracking for me. I play games to relax, not to freak out about missing things because I ran out of time.
At least I only wasted $20 on this. I wasted $40 on the craptacular The World Ends with You. Thanks a lot Gamefly for never sending me the games that were on the top of my queue and for costing me $60 after I stopped your ****ty service.
To make this on topic: using motion controls for the melee weapons on the Wii version sounds fun.
You do realize that you can play the game several times in case you missed any events, right?
You are only required to follow the main story, which is pretty easy to do because most of the boss fights are not required to complete the game.
Once you finish the main story, you can go back and complete the events and missions you missed the first time, getting each ending possible.
What you REALLY should watch out for are for the cult followers and the special agents that show up later on. Now they f*ck up your game greatly if they catch you.
The way I see it, even if there's a time limit you can play it anyway you want. Like I already said, you can either follow the story to its completion, or you can start a new game, get as many survivors as possible, fight all of the psychos or just wait till the third day to go back to the Helicopter pad.
Best of all, the progress you make on one game can be carried over to the new one so that you don't have to level up.
DR is one of those games that rewards players for their patience and dedication.
I say you should give it one last chance before saying it sucks. Its challenging but ain't impossible.
