Racing game vs Action/Adventure game

Assuming each is of equal quality, which is better?

Racing games are great for anal players who have to play the same track over and over till they feel satisfied that their time is the best they can get. OCD much?

I probably have one of the worst screen names here, but anyone that remembers me when I first joined knows that it is extremely appropriate :P

Also I think Mario and Bill the best names.  Shout out to Shift Key, only because it an awesome variation of his original name.
