Get all three albums. Listen to them in reverse order if you want to pretend they get better over time.

LOL!

Why you laugh Dasmos?

does it irk you when browsing someones ipod and you see an artist you really like and they have only one or two songs too? cuz that kills me.

or when they have like 3 of the same artists? for instance:

ramones
The Ramones
Ramone

or something stupid like that?
WE ARE THE SAME EasyCure. God I feel like stabbing them. How much fucking effort does it take to jsut update some metatags, or get the rest of the fucking album. I dont want to see that your knowledge of -cool alternative band- is limited to teh fucking Spiderman 2 Soundtrack.

We should look at each other's iPods and tug each other off, it'll be great.

I edit every single song title and artist bu I do it all in the song titles field so I only have a single line of text. It makes it easier to find what I am looking for. On a side not, I spend 3 hours last night downloading songs and got to about 350 new songs and my computer did some automatic updated and restarted on me while I was asleep, but it should never do that I have automatic updates turned off what the **** MS?!

I wish I could just remove the updater that XP uses altogether.

Am I the only one who always puts The and A after the rest of the title?

I don't because the iPod automatically ignores the "The" and the "A" when sorting.

I thought i'd end up doing that because i'm just that picky and didnt want to have my ipod scroll from A-S then ThA-ThZ, then from U-Z. Luckily, like Mr. Jack said the ipod ignores that. So something like The Ramones goes under R's and not T's. The bad thing is that a band like "A Perfect Circle" would probably go under P... i dont know i dont have them on my ipod nor do i have a band whose name starts with "A" something. I don't mind not having "The" if thats an official part of the name, not sure why though.

Ah, see, I don't have an iPod, so I'm didn't know about that feature.  Pretty cool.

It's very disconcerting to me that the rat and I have the same favorite band.

I didn't know about it till i got one. i was happily surprised. i could of sworn i saw friends with ipods that had A and The count when sorting titles. I got my first (and hopefully last) ipod this past chrismas so maybe its something new(er) in the ipod firmware?

Yeah, A Perfect Circle is sorted under P not A.

well i'm sure theres a way to fix that under the other sorting options if i ever do put them on my ipod

Thanks, Karl, for reminding me about Pandora. I'd been meaning to try it out but kind of forgot. I hope I didn't have anything important to do in those 4 hours.

You can change it, under Sort Name you can manually enter the A or The and the I-Pod will leave it in there correctly. Other than that it will ignore it. I do this for bands A Tribe Called Quest because they belong at the top of the list.

I'm a huge Beastie Boys fan myself. In fact, when I was 16 I got B Boys on my IL licensed plate.  In retrospect, it was a poor choice, considering the Backstreet Boys blew up a year later, and thus, 95% assume I'm a Backstreet Boys fan (the other 5% assume I'm a Bad Boys fan).
Now, 11 years after carrying this plate, I'll finally hang it up when I pick up my new CO licensed plate next month.

That said, looks like you're in variety, so here's a few songs I would reccomend:

Underworld - Born Slippy
Lunatic Calm - Leave You Far Behind
Roni Size - Brown Paper
Fat Boy Slim- Love Island
Pavement - Stereo
The Shins - Sea Legs
Madvillian - All Caps
Outkast - SpottieOttieDopalicious
Limp Bizkit - Counterfit
Guns n Roses - November Rain
Our Lady Piece - 4am
Piebald - American Heart
Smashing Pumpkins - Soma
Screeching Weasel - My Right
Stereo MC's - Connected
Sebadoh - Spoiled

Have to agree with Castaneda, Pandora is absolutely the best way to discover new music. Leave it on as often as convenient.

That being said, I'll throw out a link to Black Lab, an indie band I'm a big fan of that's sort of under the radar. And of course, there's absolutely no excuse for not listening to Jonathan Coulton on a daily basis.
