I suppose picking characters yourself would ruin the surprise.

FREAKING EVENT 13 (I think)!

THE STUPID DRAGOON ONE ON HARD!

Dumbest concept ever.  If I drop on Wario 4-5 times while he has a part, he doesn't drop it.  If i get attacked by Wario's weakest punch, I drop my parts.  Dumbest idea for an event match ever.

Does anyone have any tricks for beating this?  I did it fine on Easy and Normal, but now on hard I'm nowhere close.

I just beat this right now the first time I tried it on Hard. The Warios didn't even pick up any of the pieces, so that might've helped.

Like I mention in my hint, the Wario's seem more focused on Kirby than the pieces, so use kirby's float ability to the fullest.

Yeah, and I think it helped that I used Kirby's rolling-attack (the one that was a fireball in Melee and a flurry of kicks in Brawl), as that scattered the Warios away from me so I couldn't get the pieces knocked out.

I've tried that so many times.  I just don't get lucky like that.  Basically it seems the Warios collect pieces in a defensive manner...

What that means is that they will try and pick them up if one of two conditions are met, either you already have a piece, or all three pieces are out.  Therefore, using your strategy may work, but only if you can quickly collect all three as soon as the final third one appears.

I've given up for now.  Is there an achievement tied to clearing that event on hard?

There's an achievement tied to that event, but not on Hard specificially.

Ok, so I'm to lazy to check but did they change the rolling mechanics a bit in Brawl?  It seems that I face the wrong direction far to often after rolling.  It used to be that you would only change direction if you were rolling "past" another character... and you change direction to face that character.  Otherwise you would simply maintain the direction your facing.

Now it seems that there will be times we I'm trying to roll across a good portion of the stage and end up in the wrong direction when I get there (opposite of what I was expecting).

Anyone else note this?

I noticed this as well. The rolling at times really throws me off. Generally though, it is nice to roll and switch directions because typically that is what you want to do when you do a roll.

If you roll forward, you face the opposite direction.  Backward, you face the same direction.  Either that, or I've been rolling well by instinct.

Is there a way to reorganise the names list? Scrolling down each time is a pain especially when more and more people are entering their settings.

There's no functional equivalent to Melee's Camera Mode.  Which means there's no way for users to create really fancy footage.

What did Camera Mode include that can't be done from Brawl's pause screen?

has someone mentioned the horrible Zelda music selection? its atrocious! ATROCIOUS! The only good songs are the ones untouched by the drunk japanese remixers. I still can't believe the did such a good job on the rest of the music and so poor for Zelda.

Ugg, I've just learned the hard way that, when a person has removed you from their friend list, you have no way of knowing until you try to join their game and the service boots you back to the main menu.

Seriously, what a sorry excuse for an online system. You can literally log in to find 7 people online, then create a game and have none of them join because they all deleted you and you have no way of knowing because you can still see them online.

It's pretty clear Sakurai never intended to play this game online himself...

I don't play often so I'm guessing they wind up deleting me from their friend list but I don't know this, as I still see THEM online but they can't see me, making me a ghost, basically.

This, of course, stems from the 64 person friend code cap...
