Moveset Swapping
« on: March 05, 2008, 09:43:24 PM »
Has anyone seen these videos? Through some menu it looks like they are mapping the moveset from other characters onto the character they are currently playing as. Is this a hack, or a feature in the practice mode? (Please say feature, because this is pretty cool)

It's a hack; says so in the descriptions of the videos. And thank God, they're horrifying.

Ah, I see it now in the description, thanks Mikintosh. I guess a better question would be, is this something we could eventually access with an Action Replay?

Uh, best version of Peach ever. Srsly, sign me up for Dark Crystal Peach, I'd hit it.

Whoa whoa whoa, Pikachu  with Ganondorf's moveset is almost creepier than Dark Crystal Peach...

As is Toon Link as Metaknight. (shiver) gives me the willies.

It's probably something that could be achieved with an Action Replay, eventually. The Wii game hacking scene has just taken off in the past few days, for people with modchips. The Twilight Princess hack (for homebrew) might eventually lead to being able to do this stuff without modding your system as well, but you'll still need to rip your games, mod them, and burn them.

Have you guys heard of the Brothers Quay? Stop-animation... creepy (but funny?) stuff. The animations for some of these characters remind me of Brothers Quay stuff... especially Toon Link/Metaknight.

Pikaman is going to be my new TF2 spray.
