I Know there is Hope in all of us for Change.  Our time is now.  Our Hope is here, with us.  Together we can hope for Change in the Future.  It will be hard, but the audacity of hope will never die and together with our Hope for Change, that Change will come, and Bring Hope with it, for a better Future.

All the candidates suck, hard. The Republicans and the Democrats are moving us towards a bad future.  I'm gonna sound crazy here, but we are moving towards fascism, not Hitler fascism, but a soft/happy fascism.  The Republican's are undermining our rights for speech and domestic spying, spending money as fast as the Democrats and are not working towards smaller government, our conservative party is no longer fiscally conservative, just socially conservative.  The Democrats are giving us a national health care( slowly losing rights to alternative medicine, convenience, and choice of doctor[see canada]), which will lead to certain foods being banned, leading to higher taxes for out of shape and overweight,  leading to mandatory work-outs and diets.  All while we ignore the market giving us the right solution to those problems in the first place.  Our foriegn policy is very bad as well, Clinton messed around in the internal affairs of other nations and bush obviously is doing it too. We are putting ourselves out and we need a humble non-interventionist foreign policy, this is how the Republicans used to believe.  Republicans were once the anti-war party.

Doing things this way was popular when Hitler and others came to power, and it is coming back.  The more freedoms we take away and the continuation of increasing our taxes the less chance of the people achieving the American Dream.

The founding fathers knew their stuff, it is not naive to listen to the constitution and our fathers.

Osama agrees, he feels that our calls to each other should be private. He is also for change and hope for a different America! He hates the path we are taking, which is why I have this to say.

A vote for Mickey Mouse is a vote for Freedom, vote Mickey because the future is not here and the past is behind us, while the present is going by.

We need to stop messing in other countries, Regan said it himself, we don't understand the irrational of middle eastern politics.  If we just stayed out of it none of this would have happened, it all started with the Verci Treaty and the installing of the Shah in Iran.  If we got out there would be no incentive for troops to join Al Quada.  We have to stop somewhere.

I need to remind everyone that it was the democrats that put our country in the state it is now. They cut defense spending massively, allowed the shipping of our jobs across international borders and overseas with freetrade agreements, and they let inflation get way out of control with sparse raises in minimum wages. Having a republican in the whitehouse is important because we need to become the military superpower we once were during the Cold War. Such overwhelming force is the one and only deterrant that will keep us as a nation safe for generations to come. We also need to bring the jobs overseas back to the states. Having all of the manufacturing and processing jobs in places like China, India, and Mexico is nothing but huge trouble for us because unlike here, those countries have incredibly lax quality controls and safety checks, if they even exist.

Now you've done it. I'm going to have to ban some people tonight for continuing to ignore the rules about no political discussions.

Derailing threads intentionally is also grounds for a banning, Khush. - The Management

Ha. The edit message shows it was you Azure who edited my message. Quit saying management all the time and take responsibility for when you edit something.

I don't think de-railing a thread when the thread is in violation of the rules is anything to be worried about. Plus, I have precedent as other staff members have derailed threads when things have got to dicey.

Strike 2 Khush, I wouldn't push your luck anymore if I were you. Moderators and Admins are ALWAYS right. Even if you think they aren't

Welcome to the Funhouse. You do know what the Funhouse is, right? We can post anything irrelvent and off-topic that we want provided it's in the rules. Like no politics. Derailing threads is a common occurance in the funhouse. I understand the need to be tought to enforce rules but there are no rules to enforce here. My postings all fit in the parameters of what this forum is designed for.

Look, I hate to break it to you, but I'm pretty sure that's not how it happened.  Don't you remember 2000?  "A vote for Nader is a vote for Bush."  It makes sense now.  Bushes are green.  America is green on some maps.  Money is green.  The green party.  Seatbelts.  Nader is green.  It's pretty clear we voted Nader into office.  What were we smoking?

Actually that is a lie, Bushes can turn brown and have all their leaves fall off. So we voted in the brown, fallen leaf party which means we are anti-raking.
