Dude, lighten up. You don't need to go around locking every single thread that's "in the wrong forum". This forum is for discussing all things Zelda. So, what's the big deal if someone asks for a little Zelda help here? It's not like this is the general gamecube discussion area.  People are just trying to get just enough help for their specific problem/question without having to read other posts that might contain spoilers for them.

I love how everyone thinks we're being mean or something.  It's just a matter of clutter.  If people don't want spoilers in the official thread they can simply reply to the thread and look for the response.  What it comes down to more than anything is asking people to think before they post.

If we were allowed to make Wind Waker help topics then this section would become full of them. This would mean that any real non-help Zelda discussion would be impossible therefore defeating the purpose of the Zelda section.

I completely agree.  This is for Zelda discussion, not game help or spoilers.  We don't need clutter from a million Zelda problems here.

Think of it this way- if people asked for help in WW here in the Zelda forum, that means the Gameplay Help forum would become pretty much dead and I'd bet you a lot of money that most of the replies people get over there are from others that noticed their topic while on their way to a different one.

Yeah, because the Zelda forum is so overwhelmingly busy that it's nearly impossible to keep up with the 1 new topic a day.  (Yes, that was sarcasm.)

Seems to me that PlanetGameCube has too many sub-forums.  PSXnation.com and n-philes.com have only 3-4 sub-forums (general, Other Consoles, GameCube/PS2), and that works extremely well.  I don't really see why there needs to be ~15 sub-forums here.  Most of those sub-forums are dead and useless.

I don't think you're being mean; I just think you're uptight/anal.

The only real upside to having so many subforums, aside from satisfying obsessive types, is that PGC can serve more ads while visitors are checking all the different forums...

edism, wow if only you can look at what you say from the outside, how many forums have you tried to run and make money off of which is impossible without a fee or banner.... none, thats what i thought.  OK thats all.

I have an idea! ^_^, how about Theavng, a wortheless memeber, can leave and go to PSX nation--we wont miss him--and those of us who think these forums are run just fine can stay here and be happy and not have to deal with more, pointlless bitch topics like this.

Congratulations...You just earned yourself a "report this post to moderator" button click for personal insults.  Insults are NOT allowed here, I don't care how much you hate me.

Your post is way out of line.

I notice the Avenge is man enough to avoid using insults to prove his point, how about you try the same.

I.... am.... so hurt. I could cry. Either way I love the pgc forums,t hey do a great job of keeping crap from cluttering everything. I like crisp, clean forums--and if you dont appreceate that, leave instead of complaining.

Ample subforums are nice.  That way I don't have to look at threads I don't want to talk about.

Uh, I'm not sure if you're serious about crying, RE, but you tend to be rather harsh and critical in general.  I don't really mine it at all, so it's just a suggestion when I'm saying lighten up.  It seems to bother others.

Actually, this is the wrong forum for this message too.  PGC Discussion is where this is going.

If you don't like the rules, don't come in these forums.  They are operated based on these rules, and we have to be strict or these forums end up to be a real mess.
