Where's a good place to get a Wii?
« on: January 24, 2008, 12:47:52 PM »
Heya Guys, I need a good place where I can find a Wii, any ideas? I'm going to try to get one, once I get the money up and what not.

GP is right, Ebay is your only sure source for finding it right now, but then you have to pay a lot more. I was lucky because I found mine in late July at a Sears store in their electronics section. Sears isn't a place people typically look for video games, so I think that's why it was there undetected long enough for me to find it.

So my advice is, once you get the money try looking through stores were video games aren't the main focus, because these are the places where the Ebay scalpers might overlook. Gamestop or Walmart probably aren't good ideas, because scalpers will likely beat you to it there.

Seriously your only hope besides Ebay is to be lucky and/or call around to local stores about every day.

They need to open Nintendo stores nationwide. Heck, they should even open a Nintendo themed amusement park just like Disneyland, except instead of people wearing costumes of Mickey they would be wearing costumes of Mario.
