Topic: SNK vs Capcom Card Battle DS?

I saw this in stores the week before Christmas, IIRC Super liked it, what's the general concensus about the game?

In the reviews it was reviewed very poorly because SNK produced glitchy DS game cards where you can't progress the game when you talk to a specific character at the 2nd play through which is required to get a 100% completion. SNK tried to inject some story sequences which are a tad boring but the core gameplay is true to its NeoGeo predecessor and the only real use of the touch screen is ripping booster packs open to get more cards in your collection, as a card game IIRC it plays similar to magic the gathering where the cards actions have to be payed by mana.

I know you live in Germany but I do not know if the glitched cards are in the US only or worldwide. If you plan on importing an American copy heres a guide how to find out a glitched card vs a glitch free card. A glitch free card has a greyed out background on the game card sticker, a glitched card has a colorful background on the game card sticker.

They only released it a week or two ago, I'd expect these to be the fixed ones.

Ohh okay the US version had a lot of engrish. I wonder if the translation mess ups are included in the PAL region. I really want to see a badly translated game in Polish or German.

I saw one, Lufia GBC had errors like fly (furai) being translated to fry which translated to "Brand" instead of "Fliege" or ork (oaku) being translated to oak to "Eiche" (instead of "Ork").

Nice but I wonder if there are any that try to force the English structure of a sentence into a German or a Polish sentence  since I know that in most cases it wouldn't make sense since sometimes when I speak Polish I tend to think of using the English sentence structure while speaking in Polish and the outcome is that it doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Thou it might be one of those games that only really appeals to the original fan base.
