this is probley something they had in mind for Wii2....but now that its out, I wonder if any third party will try to jump on it and make a game based on it

Seen a version of this that is actually even cooler.  You have polarized 3D head-tracking glasses and stand inside a huge open ended cube.  3D images are projected to your front, left, right, (and I think above).

Of course that system costs a heck of a lot more than a Wii plus a little extra hardware.
