Yep, the biggest third party game is definitely not suited to the highest selling console. This comment pissed me off a lot. As a huge fan of both GTA and Wii i'm personally very offended. I've actually thought the GTA franchise has been a great fit for Nintendo systems for ages because of its not-so-serious style and sandbox gameplay. Plus it could really benefit from some solid controls. Plus most PS2 fans have moved to Wii, or will end up moving on to Wii.

I'm not sure if they are implying its a kids console, or an old ladies console or what? GTA has never been a graphical powerhouse, so that wouldn't be a problem for a Wii version. I don't get it, someone please explain. When Wii sells its 100 millionth console will they reconsider?

They're bringing over every one of their major franchises except GTA. They'll have to face reality soon though, and bring it over. I'm personally expecting a GTA compilation soon.

All Wii gamers have heard of Grand Theft Auto. Almost no Wii gamers have heard of Manhunt or Take Two's other Takes on its same old stuff, so if they want to exiperiment with their stuff on Wii, the should have brought over what Wii know.

No, I actually agree with him. GTA will not sell well on the Wii. GTA's target demo will better mesh with the average 360 owner than the average Wii owner.

best selling games sell out on every system their on. Demographics is something that creeped into the gaming business and has done nothing but hurt it.

We'll never know will we? All I know is that games like Resident Evil sell quite well and that crap games like Manhunt 2 with censored visuals tank.

Reviewers laughed at Manhunt 2, they also laughed at their version of what would be thought as a idiot proof table tennis but they managed to mess that up as well and looks like the next thing in line at the LOLercoaster is Bully.

That post sucked, you're not adding much.

Rockstar's been pretty piss-poor with their support on the Wii, it's mind boggling that they don't seem to get it. A port of a two year old table tennis game without the online gameplay (which is the only reason game starved 360 owners cared about it back then), Manhunt 2 which apparently has completely broken motion controls, and got banned everywhere except America.. and now what, a port of Bully? Wow. Instead of farting around, they could go ahead and create a GTA SA 'Stories' game or something for Wii, but I guess that won't happen considering the last two Stories games made no impact on the PSP, so that's gotta be Nintendo's fault.

Or *GASP*, they could go ahead and make a brand new, exclusive GTA game for Wii, but that would make sense and go on to sell a lot of copies. Can't have that, oh my no. "Quick! We'll port over the original Smuggler Run to Wii!"

They have fallen into the same trap a lot of developers have this cycle. Some games cost so much money and take so much time they were being made long before the systems came out. They have no choice but to support these systems through talk and action until the game is released to keep the hype up.

Unfortunately I think some developers are also taking it personally that their system of choice is getting crushed. Imagine your typical console fan boy who spent 400-600 dollars and is pissed and can't understand how others can make a different choice then them. Now imagine a developer who just spent millions and tons of time and money. Professionals should be better then that but they are people too.

Meh, I've never liked GTA so it's not gonna start today!
I tried Manhunt 2 on the PSP for 10 minutes and I also got tired of it.
I guess I'm just not a Rockstar games kind of person...

Or better yet Wiimake the gamecube Smuggler Run and brand it as a brand new game as if the gamecube version never existed!

Sixth Angel got it right. The ONLY reason they're saying this right now is because of the huge investment that they put into GTA4 and you better believe it's huge. Once GTA4 has been out for a bit we'll see where things stand. I am thinking about getting Bully though, I was kinda curious about it when they put it on PS2 a while back but never got a real chance to take a look at it. By the time it comes out I'll probably be set for a new title.

Yeah, sixth angel is right on the money. Rockstar already poured a ton of money and energy into the GTA 4 engine... they're not about to deviate from the path that they're set on. At least, not easily. Same thing for Square and their White Engine...*grumble grumble FFXIII grumble*

So third parties screwed up, and now consumers are paying the price. Fantastic.

Bully is a pretty decent game but it's not new.

I can testify that bully is a quality title, it's shorter and easier than GTA games but it has fantasic production values and is DRIPPING with character. If GTA was Ocarina of Time, Bully is Majora's Mask.

And lol White Engine. We shouldn't even kid ourselves here: the is going to be the same thing as every final fantasy before it, but now in high definition.

Bully is a good game, I actually like it better than GTA in many ways, even though it is basically GTA Lite (as in the brutality). Kind of sad though, besides the GTA games and Bully Rockstar hasn't really had any other good games.
