NWR was represented by Jonathan Metts, while Mike Krahulik represented Child's Play and Penny Arcade.  Carmine Red transcripted the interview.

I haven't seen such a phenomenon that unites gamers in the most humane way possible...

I still remember the Jack Thompson vs Penny-Arcade stint last year. They called him out on his BS, and he wouldn't give his money to charity, the very children he claims to protect. For that, PA has my eternal respect.

Good interview. I'll look around and see if any hospitals in my area are on the list...

PA Adventures FTWii FTW!

So... um... what can we do here at NWR to raise some money for CP?  Superman 64 marathon?
Just some random guy on the internet who has a different opinion of games than you.

Oh god no!

A glooming peace this morning with it brings;
The sun, for sorrow, will not show his head:
Go hence, to have more talk of these sad things;
Some shall be pardon'd, and some punished:
For never was a story of more woe
Than this of Sega and her Mashiro.

I am Karl Castaneda's news-posting clone, also known as Karl Castaneda #2. I have an inferiority complex, thanks to my being a clone. Fear me!

Now, I know there's some vitriol and mixed feelings over gonintendo picking up our stories, but when they picked up this one and skipped the entire 20 minute interview in favor of the following snippet:

Quote

It’s definitely something that we’re investigating. I don’t think I can say anything more than that… I’ll say I would love to, I would love to do it, man. I hope we can. - Mike “Gabe” Krahulik

I couldn't help but glow with pride at how those were the very words that I agonizingly focused on, then I transcribed by hand. Ah, the glow of seeing my writing out in the wild!

... now if only gonintendo would've picked up on the meat of the interview, the history and purpose of child's play. That would truly have been in the spirit of the interview and have helped out a worthwhile charity.
